The Resurrection of Jesus Christ Word #1 - Messiah “Messiah”= chosen one, anointed one -In the world of Jewish theology, the “Messiah” was the one chosen by God, the one anointed by God... who was going to come to this world and save God’s people ACTS 13 -The resurrection of Jesus is evidence that He was indeed the Messiah sent from God.
The Resurrection of Jesus Christ Word #2 – Salvation Q --- What do we need to be “saved” from? -We need to be saved from our sin -We are all sinners -We face punishment ROMANS 10:9... “That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved”
The Resurrection of Jesus Christ Word #3 - Life Abundant Life JOHN 10:10 JOHN 3:16 Eternal Life ROMANS 6 -The resurrection of Jesus Christ is what assures us of His ability to give us life... abundant life... eternal life
