2 Three strong statements Joint degrees are the highest or the closest form of cooperation in HE They can advance the HEA in quality and depth They require a clear and decisive institutional support at all levels Based on the direct experience of Deusto University and indirectly of more than 50 partners

19 Three strong statements They require a clear and decisive institutional support at all levels If most of these prerequisites are not present the partnership will not be able to cope It is best when it is linked with the mission and vision of the university When all these things are present it shows a high level of coherence and international visibility and becomes a focus for development
