30 I N T EXT C ITATIONS In-Text Citations tell the reader where you got the information. It gives the author credit! If you came up with a good idea, wouldn’t you want people to know it was yours?

Example commentary: There is no other reason that man should have had a knife in his car. If he did have a reason about why the knife was in his car, he should have explained it to the jury.

39 P RACTICE Create an argument for or against allowing cell phones on flights. Explain how it would impact the experience of the flyer. Include textual support.
