How The InFORMED Data Results Rubric Works Q. What are the 5 rating categories listed on the InFORMED Data Results Rubric? A.The first 4 rating categories refer to indicators of instructional knowledge, planning and delivery. There are several exemplary models such as Danielson’s, Marzano’s, Silver’s, and STAGES. A. The 5 th rating category is the InFORMED Data Results Rubric linking several types of student achievement data to educator performance. In Oscoda, we use state, national, and local assessments and they all have equal value. However, these values can be set locally.

How The InFORMED Data Results Rubric Works Q. In the InFORMED rubric, are high scoring students averaged with low scoring students to determine % proficient? A. No. The goal is for all students to perform at a proficient level (we use 70%). One highly performing student does not compensate for a student that scores at a non-proficient level. This % is reached by taking # of students who earned “proficient or exceeded” ratings divided by total # of students assessed.

How The InFORMED Data Results Rubric Works Q. In the InFORMED Rubric, what defines “proficiency”? A.Each assessment tool often defines the level of proficiency. While a district could elect to set this rate, the default programming is set to coincide with the assessment parameters of the state or national assessment. A. Proficiency on local assessments can be set locally, the program default is set at 70%.

How The InFORMED Data Results Rubric Works Q. Does this PowerPoint include the entire InFORMED Data Results Rubric and it’s protocols? A.No. The InFORMED Data Results Rubric is a 16 page document that identifies how each teacher (core, special education, enrichment, elective, counselor, etc) is linked to state, national, and local student achievement results for the students they serve/served.

How The InFORMED Data Results Rubric Works Q. What do teachers need to do? A.Teach their courses A. Record local grades in the student data system A.Login to the InFORMED Data Results Rubric What will educators see? A. The next few slides are screen shots from the InFORMED Data Results Rubric Program
