AAAF ALTERNATE ASSESSMENT & ACCOUNTABILITY FOLDER

PART 1 AAAF Document Components Details Information for folder development

REMINDER The Evidence of Instruction WILL NOT be a required piece of the AAAF. KDE does encourage districts to continue to ask for some sort of evidence within the district to make sure instructional alignment to the standard is occurring. The Instructional Planning Tool is a great resource to do this. DO NOT SUBMIT IN THE AAAF

IMPORTANT The AAAF is and should always be considered a secure, confidential document that houses confidential student information. The AAAF should not be considered a student working folder; as it will require some student work within, but not all daily assignments should be included. This PowerPoint will provide additional information to the specific contents and requirements for the AAAF.

Components of the AAAF Student Information Page (required) Teacher Code of Ethics (Found in Alternate K- PREP Forms) Teacher Qualification Quiz(s) (quizzes provided with Alternate Assessment Online Trainings):  Combined Overview/Attainment Tasks  Transition Attainment Record (applies to teachers of students in grades 8, 10 and 11)
