2 China stage IV of motorcycle emission standard is being established Comments to be received by October 30, 2014 http://www.zhb.gov.cn/gkml/hbb/bgth/201409/t20140928_2 89638.htm It will be exhibited on WTO/TBT in the near future It is predicted to apply from 1 January, 2017

3 OBD Requirements  All motorcycles shall be equipped with an OBD system.  OBD system shall be equipped with a visible or audible malfunction indicator that can inform the driver of the motorcycle clearly and rapidly.  If a emission-relevant component or system is monitored for electric circuit malfunctions(short circuit or open circuit), the OBD system malfunction indicator shall be activated.  OBD system shall at least monitor the electric circuit of the following sensors and actuators( for Ignition engine):  Sensors: Oxygen sensor 、 Engine load sensor ( such as Throttle Position Sensor or intake manifold pressure sensor. )  Actuator: fuel-injection.

4 RMI of OBD In the reasonable and proportionate charging fees condition, manufacturers shall make the motorcycle repair and maintenance information available to the repairers and dealers (including all subsequent amendments and supplements information).
