2. WHO IS JESUS? a Prophetof thy brethrenlike unto me a Prophet from among their brethrenlike unto thee 15 The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken… 18 I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. 19 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him. (Deut. 18:15-19) (1) A Prophet (2) Of the Jews (3) Like Moses.

3. WHO IS JESUS? We have found Him of whom Moses wrote Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph. Philip found Nathanael and said to him, We have found Him of whom Moses wrote in the law and the prophets, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph. (John 1:45) For if ye believed Moses, ye would believe me;for he wrote of me Think not that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, on whom ye have set your hope. For if ye believed Moses, ye would believe me; for he wrote of me. But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words? (John 5:45-47) (1) A Prophet (2) Of the Jews (3) Like Moses.

4. WHO IS JESUS? MosesA prophet from among your brethrenlike unto me Peter said of Jesus: “Moses indeed said, A prophet shall the Lord God raise up unto you from among your brethren, like unto me. To him shall ye hearken in all things whatsoever he shall speak unto you. 23 And it shall be, that every soul that shall not hearken to that prophet, shall be utterly destroyed from among the people. 24 Yea and all the prophets from Samuel and them that followed after, as many as have spoken, they also told of these days. 25 Ye are the sons of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with your fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed. 26 Unto you first God, having raised up his Servant, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from your iniquities. 5. WHO IS JESUS? Mosesunto the children of IsraelA prophet from among your brethren like unto me “37 This is that Moses, who said unto the children of Israel, A prophet shall God raise up unto you from among your brethren, like unto me. the Righteous One Jesus 52 Which of the prophets did not your fathers persecute? and they killed them that showed before of the coming of the Righteous One; of whom ye have now become betrayers and murderers… Jesus” (Acts 7:37, 52-55ff) (1) A Prophet (2) Of the Jews (3) Like Moses.

6. WHO IS JESUS? “And it came to pass about eight days after these sayings, that he took with him Peter and John and James, and went up into the mountain to pray. And as he was praying, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment became white and dazzling. And behold, there talked with him two men, who were Moses and Elijah; who appeared in glory, and spake of his decease which he was about to accomplish at Jerusalem. Now Peter and they that were with him were heavy with sleep: but when they were fully awake, they saw his glory, and the two men that stood with him. And it came to pass, as they were parting from him, Peter said unto Jesus…” (Luke 9:28-36)

7. WHO IS JESUS? “…Master, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah: not knowing what he said. And while he said these things, there came a cloud, and overshadowed them: and they feared as they entered into the cloud. This is my Son, my chosen: hear ye him. And a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is my Son, my chosen: hear ye him. And when the voice came, Jesus was found alone. And they held their peace, and told no man in those days any of the things which they had seen. (Luke 9:28-36) Greater than Moses & Elijah. He Is God’s Son!

8. WHO IS JESUS? (1)JESUS IS THE PROPHET (Deut. 18:15-19; John 1:45; 5:45-47; Acts 3:22-26; Acts 7:37, 52-55ff). (2)MUST BE LISTENED TO (Mt. 3:16-17; 28:18-20; Etc.). (3)WILL SAVE US FROM OUR SINS (John 3:16 “God so love the world…”) (John 4:42 “… this is indeed the Christ, the Savior of the world.” ). DO YOU BELIEVE IN JESUS?
