5 Absolute Monarchy iHistory Phone
Crownbook… MyQueenSpace… WorldThroneCraft…Regalchat… who is the most absolute of them all? Your group will be assigned one of the following monarchs to create a iHistory Smartphone LOUIS XIV PETER THE GREAT ELIZABETH I FREDERICK THE GREAT PHILIP II of Spain MARIA THERESA CATHERINE THE GREAT CARDINAL RICHELIEU Research your monarch and as a group make a list of important things they did including significant events that they famous for. Display it on a mock iHistory Phone

6 Create a fake “smart phone” to present to the class illustrating the important information you learned about your monarch. The following are examples of the types of information you should be looking for: Background on the country they ruled and the dates of their reign (when they ruled or were in power) List wars fought (against who). How did they treat their people? the nobility? the peasantry? Were they popular or were people angry and mistreated? What was their legacy (i.e. how did they change their country?) What unique or important things did they do? Your poster MUST contain at least 2 illustrations which represent some aspect of your monarch. Each person in the group MUST use a different color and write/contribute to the poster (represent their own work). EVERYONE must present some aspect of your monarch’s life during the presentation.

7 Each person must have a primary (first/main) responsibility
Each person must have a primary (first/main) responsibility. That person is in charge of that effort, but everyone needs to contribute to every part. Write each group member’s name next to their responsibility. RESPONSIBILITY NAME Project Illustrations & Images & Timeframe Information/research (all group members) Both are active Presentation partners GRADING CONSIDERATIONS: I will be considering the following things when I determine your grade: Did your group stay on task when researching and preparing the project? Was EVERYONE engaged and involved during the research and presentation? Was the information presented on your iHistory Phone thorough and accurate? How creative was your iHistory Phone?
