4. What if you have already shown mastery of the standard? If you have scored 95% or better on Mastery assignments for the standard in 10 th grade, then you will show your knowledge in a different way – Artifact Extension It is important to ALWAYS stay challenged This is NOT “busy work”

Artifact Find a historical artifact that represents the time period (photo, document, speech, physical object), OR… MAKE a historical artifact that explains the content standard (poster, cartoon, image, poem, video, etc.) Write an explanation of the artifact that summarizes its meaning and relevance *If doing extension* - Write an additional 2 paragraphs: Explaining the significance of the artifact referring to 2-3 historical events from the topic Explaining the significance of this content standard to our modern day.
