2 Changing endings ~ with –ly (lesson 6) Most adverbs are formed from adjectives. Many adverbs are formed by adding --ly to the adjective. Example: Slow---slowly Change the following adjectives to adverbs. 1.fierce2. quick3. large 4.useful5. equal

4 Changing endings ~ with –y and –le Lesson 7 & 8) Lesson 7 Most adjectives that end in --y, you should change the y to i and add the --ly to form the adverb. Examples: –Lazy---lazily –Crazy---crazily –Heavy---heavily Lesson 8 For most adjectives that have more than one syllable and end in –le, simply change the e to y to form the adverb. Example: –Favorable---favorably
