1. Welcome to our Plumber’s Helper Power Point Presentation. This slide show will give some important information about our training program. Here you will learn about the subjects covered by the program, individual course details, and the enrollment process. So sit back and enjoy the show.

2. QBI, The Training Institute, Inc. (QBITTI) is licensed by the New York State Education Department: Bureau of Proprietary School Supervision.

3. The Plumber’s Helper Training Program is designed to teach students, with little or no previous experience, the skills necessary to become an entry-level plumber.

4. Students interested in this program must have hands- on skills, the ability to distinguish between colors, Little or no mobility restrictions, and the ability to both climb ladders and work in confined spaces.

5. Students begin by learning basic construction techniques.

6. And progress to building basic plumbing fixtures and assemblies.

7. Particular emphasis is placed on teaching the NYC plumbing code, among the most complicated codes in the United States of America.

8. Students will learn to “sweat” Solder copper pipes and connectors.

9. Install Basic Plumbing Fixtures including toilets:

13. Full Bathroom Sets from Rough-In:

14. Full Bathroom Sets To Final Assembly:

15. Install Kitchen Sinks and Fixtures

16. And Install both Residential and Commercial Pipes

17. For Water Supply

18. And For Drain, Waste and Venting

19. Our Students spend most of their class time building plumbing projects

20. And using specialized plumbing tools;

21. and equipment.

22. Daytime classes meet Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 4:00pm for approximately 21+ weeks, for a total of 630 hours of training.

23. And classes begin every 7 to eight weeks.

24. Job Placement Assistance is available to all graduates.
