BY LATE 1941, THE AXIS POWERS PUSHED THE ALLIES NEARLY TO THE BREAKING POINT AXIS POWERS OCCUPIED GREECE & YUGOSLAVIA AXIS POWERS WERE ADVANCING IN NORTH AFRICA FDR AND CHURCHILL MET IN WASHINGTON DC AND DECIDED TO WAIT ON AN INVASION AGAINST JAPAN

IN JANUARY OF 1942 CHINA AND THE USSR AGREED TO HELP DEFEAT THE AXIS POWERS AND TO NOT MAKE A SEPARATE PEACE AGREEMENT SONAR WAS CREATED BY THE ALLIES TO HELP PROTECT SHIPS NEWER LONG-RANGE BOMBERS HELPED PROTECT OUR SHIPS AS WELL ALLIES STARTED MAKING BOMBING RUNS INTO GERMANY AND TRYING TO KNOCK OUT FACTORIES, MILITARY TARGETS, AND RAILROADS

EARLY 1943 THE ALLIES HAD BEGUN THEIR FINAL PUSH TO DEFEAT THE AXIS POWERS BATTLE OF STALINGRAD BLOCK BY BLOCK BATTLE IN THE CITY GERMANS SURRENDERED IN JANUARY OF 1943 OVER 200,000 GERMANS DIED DURING THIS BATTLE

DECEMBER OF 1944, HITLER’S LAST OFFENSIVE OF THE WAR TOOK PLACE DESPARATE ATTEMPT TO STOP THE ALLIES WAS IN THE ARDENNE FOREST ATTACKED THE US FORCES IN THIS AREA US SUFFERED OVER 77,000 CASUALTIES WE EVENTUALLY WON THE BATTLE AND PUSHED THE GERMANS BACK
