10 SAFETY Youth Protection Required for all adults Reporting of suspected abuse is mandatory A Time to Tell offered periodically.

11 Troop 574 SAFETY Two Deep Leadership NEVER One on One with a Scout Includes Travelling, Campsites, Restrooms, and Meetings Protects Scouts and Adults

12 Troop 574 SAFETY Code of Conduct Must be signed by Scout and Adult Progressive discipline designed to encourage positive behavior, not to punish Discipline moves from Scouts to Leaders to Parents Note the Dress Code

13 Troop 574 SAFETY Health Forms and Medicines Class 1 and Class 2 Health Forms Class 3 for major activities and old people Medicine administered per instructions by an assigned adult on each trip One reason why we travel together (but do not follow each other)

14 Troop 574 SAFETY We strive to accommodate all medical needs. We have Scouts with special needs and pride ourselves on our ability to adapt and include them in the program. Parents must communicate with us and give us the tools we need. We care about each child and are, at the same time, teaching responsibility.

15 Troop 574 SAFETY Dealing with homesickness. No cell phones on campouts. Parents will have leader’s cell phone numbers. We will inform you on any issues.

36 Troop 574 EXPENSES FOR EQUIPMENT AND ACTIVITIES Scout Fund - Money earned is placed in your son’s Scout Fund. Scout Funds may be used for any Troop activity Scout Funds are not refundable

37 Troop 574 EXPENSES FOR EQUIPMENT AND ACTIVITIES Cost - Should never prevent a Scout from participating in our Troop and our Troop’s activities. - See me or David Lutz if cost is ever an issue.
