Gustave Lorentz Alsace, France Gewurztraminer Reserve “Highlights” 2008 87 Pts WINE SPECTATOR, Web Review 2009 “Light-bodied, with nice tangy acidity and a spicy edge. Displays tangerine, grapefruit sorbet and lemongrass notes, with a modest finish.” QUINTESSENTIAL IMPORTER | MARKETER | DISTRIBUTOR www.quintessentialwines.com

Gustave Lorentz Alsace, France Cremant Brut Rose “Highlights” 2011 90 Pts Winereviewonline.com “Sadly, the wine drinking public often overlooks Cremant d’ Alsace. By definition, a Cremant — be it from Alsace or Burgundy– is a sparkling wine that has fewer bubbles than Champagne. As such, Cremants are, as the name implies, creamier. Lorentz, one of the top Alsace producers, uses Pinot Noir exclusively for this Cremant Rose. Its power is offset by a subtle creaminess, as the palate is flooded with the taste of wild strawberries. It’s a marvelous aperitif, but has enough stuffing to serve it with roast pork. –Michael Apstein QUINTESSENTIAL IMPORTER | MARKETER | DISTRIBUTOR www.quintessentialwines.com

Gustave Lorentz Riesling Reserve “Highlights” 2007 87 Pts WINE ADVOCATE, Mar. 2010 “Moderately intense nose of green apple with some lemon / lime aromas. Slight scent of wet pebbles. Dry, medium-high acidity, decent intensity. Long finish.” 2008 89 Pts ‘Best Buy’ WINE & SPIRITS, Dec. 2010 2009 88 Pts WINE ENTHUSIAST, Feb. 1, 2011 “Surprisingly soft for a Riesling, which gives the wine an easy attractiveness. Lively, fresh acidity and green apple and melon flavors follow through to the end, perhaps softened by a sense of the wine being off-dry.” QUINTESSENTIAL IMPORTER | MARKETER | DISTRIBUTOR www.quintessentialwines.com 2013 91 Pts ‘Best Buy’ WINE & SPIRITS, Dec. 2014 “Dry and tightly wound, this frisky young wine needs time to unfurl. Its scents of Golden Delicious apples and barely ripe peaches integrate nicely with juicy bursts of acidity, lingering on the palate in a refreshingly cool finish that calls for langoustines.” 91 Pts ‘Best Buy’ WINE & SPIRITS ‘YEARS BEST’ ISSUE, Dec, 2014

Gustave Lorentz Le Rose “Highlights” 2011 90 Pts ‘Best Buy’ WINE & SPIRITS, Aug. 2012 “Georges Lorentz is the seventh generation to run this domaine- now, at 79 acres, the largest family-owned estate in Alsace. His Pinot Noir Rose is smooth and broad, full-bodied in texture and delicate in flavor. The light spice and fresh mushroom scents deepen its savor, pointing it toward a fava and morel fricassee.” QUINTESSENTIAL IMPORTER | MARKETER | DISTRIBUTOR www.quintessentialwines.com

Gustave Lorentz – Alsace, France Pinot Gris Grand Cru Altenberg de Bergheim “Highlights” 2005 89 Pts WINE ENTHUSIAST, Oct 1, 2010 “Sweet, rich wine, powerful ripe pear and melon flavors spiced with ginger and an opulent full texture. The wine lets its perfumed character get away with itself, but it’s exuberant for a moment.” QUINTESSENTIAL IMPORTER | MARKETER | DISTRIBUTOR www.quintessentialwines.com

Gustave Lorentz – Alsace, France Riesling Grand Cru Altenberg de Bergheim “Highlights” 2005 91 Pts WINEREVIEWONLINE.COM, Nov 30, 2010 “The Grand Cru classification of vineyards occurred in Alsace roughly 50 years later than it did in Burgundy. But, similar to Burgundy, Grand Cru in Alsace doesn’t automatically mean the wine will be great. The producer is still the most important element in determining quality. And Lorentz is a great producer. Not flowery in the German style, this dry Riesling has weight and substance. A lush texture, nuances of peach and a long, spiced finish add to its allure. It’s not a wine to sip before dinner, but it would be terrific with holiday turkey.” 2005 90 Pts WINE ENTHUSIAST, Oct 1, 2010 “An invitingly perfumed wine, its fruit bursting with citrus intensity. It has bright, very textured and mineral structure offering aging potential. There is a lively, vivid aftertaste. “ QUINTESSENTIAL IMPORTER | MARKETER | DISTRIBUTOR www.quintessentialwines.com

Gustave Lorentz – Alsace, France Gewurztraminer Grand Cru Altenberg de Bergheim “Highlights” 2004 88 Pts WINE SPECTATOR, 2008 “Very aromatic, with honeysuckle on the nose and a hint of jasmine mixing with the quince, smoke and cardamom flavors. This tangy white is easy to drink, with refreshing acidity.” 2001 90 Pts WINE SPECTATOR, Feb 28, 2007 “Pungent, expressing ruby grapefruit, lychee and vanilla pastry aromas and flavors. Well- balanced. Has developed nicely, with harmony and a long finish.” 2002 90 Pts WINE SPECTATOR, Feb 15, 2007 “A ripe, exotic white, with papaya and mango notes playing off red grapefruit and orange peel flavors. This is dry, with integrated acidity and a light finish of star fruit.” QUINTESSENTIAL IMPORTER | MARKETER | DISTRIBUTOR www.quintessentialwines.com 2010 90 Pts Wine & Spirits ‘Years Best’ Issue, Dec. 2014

Gustave Lorentz – Alsace, France Pinot Gris Schofweg “Highlights” 2007 91 Pts WINE SPECTATOR, Nov 15, 2010 “This fleshy Pinot Gris shows good crispness to the acidity and flavors of white peach, grapefruit peel and smoke, with a touch of salt. Well-balanced overall, with good intensity and a lingering juicy finish. Drink now through 2018.” 2007 87 Pts WINE ENTHUSIAST, Oct 1, 2010 “Rich, spicy wine, layers of pepper and soft fruits. The flavors show smoky peach and pear, with some weight behind the texture. It finishes well with alight layer of acidity.” QUINTESSENTIAL IMPORTER | MARKETER | DISTRIBUTOR www.quintessentialwines.com
