5. 5 The CPG, as a HQ USCENTCOM staff element, will directly advise the Combined Forces Commander with strategic assessments, operational, political-military & civil-military analyses in support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM (OEF). Tasking will be directed by the JPG to ensure coherence of effort for planning and analysis tasks ranging from near to long-term, strategic to operational, military and humanitarian assistance.
