1 Anti-Social Behaviour, Prevent and Deter Group (ABPAD Group)

2 The Anti-Social Prevent and Deter (ABPAD Group) is a sub group of the Community Safety Partnership (CSP) The Anti-Social Prevent and Deter (ABPAD Group) is a sub group of the Community Safety Partnership (CSP) The main aim of the ABPAD Group is to assist the CSP in reducing Anti-Social Behaviour The main aim of the ABPAD Group is to assist the CSP in reducing Anti-Social Behaviour

3 Membership of the ABPAD includes representatives from a range of Council departments: - Membership of the ABPAD includes representatives from a range of Council departments: - – Housing and Public Protection – Young People’s Prevention and Inclusion – Young People’s Lifelong Learning & Achievement – Youth Justice Service It also includes North Wales Police and other representatives from other public sector organisations. 4 The ABPAD Group meets on a monthly basis to consider issues relating to Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB): The ABPAD Group meets on a monthly basis to consider issues relating to Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB): – ASB caused by individuals – Increased focus on Victims of ASB – Residential properties causing ASB (introduced in early 2011)

7 Stages of the Yellow Card System 1 st yellow card – Letter sent home to the Parent/guardian 1 st yellow card – Letter sent home to the Parent/guardian 2 nd yellow card – Letter sent home to parent/guardian and a home visit by Police and relevant Partner 2 nd yellow card – Letter sent home to parent/guardian and a home visit by Police and relevant Partner 3 rd yellow card – Direct referral onto the ABPAD Group 3 rd yellow card – Direct referral onto the ABPAD Group

8 Partner Agency Referral Form Referral process whereby any agency that has concerns regarding individuals, victims or residential properties can refer onto the group for discussion.
