The Ancient Egyptians were one of the most important civilizations of the past. They were famous for tombs, monuments, mummification and pyramids. The Ancient Egyptians live along the banks of the River Nile. They lived in Around 5000 BC.

The river Nile is extremely famous for its length. It is the longest river in the world. It is over 6000 km long. The Nile was used to travel carry cargo. The Nile came from melting snow high in the Ethiopian mountains.

The farmers grew Wheat, barley, vegetables, figs, melons, pomegranates and vines. They also grew flax which was made into linen by bashing it so you would have clothes. there were3 seasons it would flood in Akhet it would stop and leave rich soil to plant on in Peret in Shemu it is the harvest season where they would and cut all the crops to eat

We know that the rich Ancient Egyptians spent as much money as they could on jewellery They wore linen because it was a light weight material They had head rests and other furniture we know this because we can see evidence in the tombs and hieroglyphs. Building were made of mud, straw and stones. We know this because Archaeologists have dug them up.

There is a belief about a curse Legend that whoever goes in the tomb is cursed But that is fake
