7. B EAUTIFUL V IEW 1:12 PM Saturday, September 1, 2012 Southeast 7. This is at Marblehead Beach on Drummond Island. It is very difficult to get to since there are no real roads out to it, but the view is worth it if you can make it. (Place, Region-Great Lakes, Human-Environment Interaction)

8. B EAUTIFUL B EACH 11:50 AM Sunday, September 2, 2012 East 8. This is another beach that my family visits every year when we go to Drummond Island for Labor Day weekend. It is a tradition that we have lunch there once a year that we have had for 20 years now. (Place, Region-Great Lakes)

9. F ERRY 9:05 AM Monday, September 3, 2012 Northwest 9. There is no bridge to get to Drummond Island, so you have to take the “Drummond Islander” ferry. Every year we get out and take pictures on our way on and off the island on the ferry. (Human/Environment Interaction, Movement of Goods/People)

10. V ISITING M Y N EPHEW 8:23 PM Monday, October 22, 2012 Northwest 10. My nephew Oliver was taking his favorite toy, Dora, for a ride in his amazing car. My husband and I got him this car for his first birthday and he has really enjoyed going for walks on their street and giving his toys rides in it. (Movement)
