3. P L O T Finding Nemo is a story about Nemo, a clownfish captured by a diver and taken from his father. His father Marlin joins forces with Dory, a fish with a few problems of her own, and together they embark on a journey through the reef and to the shore where they come across friends and foes who help and hinder their journey.

4. Setting Finding Nemo takes place in the Coral Reef and on the shore of Australia.

5. Marlin Marlin is an overprotective father. He becomes brave quickly as he embarks on a journey to find his son. He is a very naïve character because he lives a sheltered life.

6. Dory Dory has horrible memory issues. She is easily distracted. She is very spontaneous.

7. Nemo He loves adventure, and it gets him in trouble. Is accepted by a fish tank clan and is nicknamed “Shark Bait”. Learns a very important lesson about the importance of listening to his dad.
