2. The gonads for males are called the testes. The testes produce sperm, the male gamete. This male gamete combines with the female gamete (egg) to create a zygote cell.

3. Epididymis receives immature sperm from testes and stores it for several days, when, upon ejaculation, allows the sperm to travel through the deferent duct, up the spermatic chord into the pelvic cavity, over the ureter to the prostate behind the bladder, to the ejaculatory duct that empties the sperm into the urethra where rhythmic muscles propel the sperm.

4. Testicular Cancer Common in males between 15 and 35 Can be Seminoma testicular cancer (contain only seminoma cells or Non-seminoma testicular cancer (can contain many different types of cells) Non-seminoma testicular cancer spreads faster Seminoma is a germ cell tumor of the testes

5. Testicular Cancer Symptoms A swelling and/or lump in one or both of the testes. Pain in the testes or scrotum may or may not be present. A feeling of heaviness in the scrotum. A dull feeling of pain in the region of the lower abdominal area, groin, or lower back.
