Atmosphere Regions Troposphere – surface to 18km; weather occurs here; densest layer; temperature decreases with altitude

Atmosphere Regions Stratosphere – 18-50 km; temperatures rise with altitude because ozone layer absorbs UV rays and heats the thin air
