2 Who & What is the Booster Club Original Intent: The Booster Club was started in 2000 It was designed to fill in the “Gaps” Any parent with a player is a member We have about 25 active members Get involved, it is a lot of fun Volunteering is essential: It takes a lot of hands to support a Top-10 program and put these games on successfully, so be sure to do your share! We need you and your special skills !!

3 Expanded Role for Booster Club 1. Educate Parents and Players about one of the best programs for any sport in Michigan…and what it takes to be a Champion Football Program Goals: Are you the next State Champion? Make Playoffs: “normally” requires 6 Wins City Champions: Beat Oakley Park & Northern Knights Regional & Final Four Championship Win State Championship!! How to get there: The Machine Teamwork Player Development: leadership qualities, work ethic, academics Coaching: Offense, Defense & Special Teams – Football Acumen Parent /Family Involvement 2. Provide Home Field Advantage Welcome Tent, Banners, Cheerleading, POMs, Band, Announcing, Music, Student Section (Z-Zone), etc.

5 Warrior Principle #1 Character Development: Build Character through Leadership, Community Service & Philanthropic events:  Philanthropic: 2011 inaugural Warriors for Warriors Breast Cancer Fundraiser  Community Service 3-time recipient of the Steve Spicer Memorial Leadership & Community Service Award

6 Warrior Principle #2 Academics: In 2012, we won our 6th Academic All-State award and the 5 th in the last 7 years Grades come 1 st …. Can’t play if you don’t have the grades Colleges won’t be able to recruit you if you don’t meet standards….even if you have great talent …..Hit the books – We need smart football players

7 Warrior Principle #3 Football Development:  5 th Final Four Appearance in 20 years:  State Champions - 1999 & 1996,  Final Four - 2011, 2001, & 1992  State Playoffs 15  Walled Lake City Champions 25 Red Home Jerseys City Champs in 2013 ….make it happen!!

Donations to ProgramProvide Services Events Jerseys 2011 & 2012 ($6,500) +names on Jerseys Footballs - $2,500 in 2012 Stadium Setup – Putting the Warrior into the Stadium with Banners, Flags, etc. Equipment Trailer Digital Cameras for scouting and Game review Cost being passed down from District (e.g. Bussing) - $4,600+ in 2011 Parent gifts Pre Game Meals Post Game Meals Varsity Team Dinners Snack bags in the lockers prior to games Game Day Prep Locker Decorations Yearbook – 4 consecutive years as National award winner Photography Website Awards Family Picnic Dinner Club Golf Outing Warriors for Warriors Banquet

13 Banner Attention all Walled Lake Western Football supporters It is time to get the yearly banner started (& filled up this year!!) You can view previous years banners displayed in the auxiliary gym @ the school. There is a limited quantity of 72 footballs available on the main banner Additional side banners will be made if necessary.
