Warrior Web Warpers A&R MPT Application Setup u The A&R MPT can be installed on any Windows based PC running Windows XP or Windows 2000. u The software is delivered in the ARMPT.zip file. u Locate the.ZIP file “Release” on the terminal/screen of the computer. u Double click the “release” folder to open zip file folder to open zip file 3

4. Warrior Web Warpers 4 A&R MPT Application Setup u The file should be unzipped and then the setup.exe should be found in the WinZip tool. u The installation screens will walk the installer through the process. u Open the setup file, by double clicking on “setup.exe” file.

5. Warrior Web Warpers Executing the A&R MPT application u Click the Next button, once this window is open on the terminal/screen. 5

6. Warrior Web Warpers Installation of the Application u User should accept all defaults and click the next button, the default location is shown in folder block. 6

7. Warrior Web Warpers Installation Confirmation u The “confirmation installation” screen, prompts the user that the installation process will begin once the “next” button is clicked. u Click “next”. 7

9. Warrior Web Warpers Installation is Complete u u A&R MPT application installation is completed. u Click the “close” button to complete the application installation. 9

10. Warrior Web Warpers Open the “WWW” Folder u u Locate the Warrior Web Warpers (WWW) folder in the Program Files. u u Open the file (double click the folder) for “Air Search and Rescue Mission Planning Tool”. 10

12. Warrior Web Warpers Logging into the A&R MPT system u Log-in screen u The user (Aircrew) enters’ their “user name” (ID) and “password” and then clicks the “OK” button. u Click the “cancel” button if you do not want to log into the system application. 12

13. Warrior Web Warpers Logging into the A&R MPT system u If the “user name” or “password” are incorrect, the system will prompt the user that an invalid ID or password was entered. 13

14. Warrior Web Warpers Logging into the A&R MPT system u The administrator logs on as admin and password = password on initial use of the A&R MPT Windows application. The administrator will then click OK button. u This action will bring up Input Data screen. u Administrator then clicks on Security text box at top left corner of the Input Data screen. u This action opens up the Registration table. 14

Warrior Web Warpers User Registration (Admin and Aircrew) u u The administrator can then assign passwords to the aircrew, and can update the admin password and assign Admin rights to other Administrators by checking the Admin Type box next to their user ID and password row.. u u The administrator should check the checkbox to the right of his name and password row. This action will give him full administration rights. 15

16. Warrior Web Warpers User Input Data Screen u The user (Aircrew) enters “data” into this screen to begin the search. He can also recall previous missions with the View Previous Output button u Then the user will click on the “compute” button, and be presented with a Mission number and Grid Number screen. 16

17. Warrior Web Warpers Input Mission Number u When the correct mission number and Grid Number are entered, click the “enter” button. u This will generate the output data screen. 17

18. Warrior Web Warpers Mission Number and/or GRID Number Entry Error u If an error in entering Mission Number or GRID Number an error will be generated and the screen below will appear. Hit ok and try to correct the input error on previous screen and then click enter 18

19. Warrior Web Warpers A&R MPT Data Output Screen u u This “output data screen” is generated with the information from inserted input data. u u Click “Print” to generate the “kneeboard” sized output data. 19

20. Warrior Web Warpers System Data Printout u u A printout (hardcopy) of the mission plan data is completed. 20

Warrior Web Warpers Print selection u The Aircrew and Administrator can print the calculated search plan for use by performing the following steps... u Step 1: Click symbol to right of Print symbol and it will open and allow selection of the Landscape or Portrait view. Select Landscape and 8-1/2 x 11 paper size. This is the Print Setup Screen u Step 2: Then select printer symbol at top left corner of the Mission Plan screen and mission plan will print. 21
