2. Poster Project Assignment:
Students will design a poster showing the electromagnetic spectrum in the upper half of the poster. The lower half of the poster will be a focus on one area of the electromagnetic spectrum (Radio waves, Microwaves, Infrared waves, Light Waves, Ultraviolet rays, X-rays, and Gamma Rays), showing how humans are able to use the waves.

Radio waves are used in many areas of everyday life. They have the longest wavelength, lowest frequency, and lowest energy of all other electromagnetic waves and yet our society has become highly “advanced” because of them.
