3 Por ejemplo: In English we say: “I like Spanish.” En español decimos: “To me, Spanish is pleasing.”

4 En Español…: The word order is actually “backwards”: In order to say “I like to rest”, you must say “me gusta descansar”. You can make it negative by adding “no” at the beginning. “No me gusta descansar” The indirect object comes first:Me (To me) Then the verb:gusta (it is pleasing) Finally the subject of the verb:descansar (to rest).
