HEARING AID – Battery If the FM system is not working, put in a new battery. Battery compartment Return

HEARING AID – LISTENING CHECK If the battery is working, listen to the HA using your listening stethoscope:  Switch the HA off and on.  Listen for intermittence while talking and tapping on the HA.  Switch between the microphone and the T-coil. Return

HEARING AID – FM Receiver If the HA is working, try the FM receiver on a different hearing aid:  Test the receiver in all three positions: FM and HA, FM only, and HA only.  Check the switch for weakness. Return

HEARING AID – Audioshoe If the hearing aid and FM receiver are both working, try using the audioshoe on a different hearing aid. Return

COCHLEAR IMPLANT OVERVIEW Choose a topic: BatteryCordsFM ReceiverMicrolink CI S Did this solve your problem? Main Menu YESNO

COCHLEAR IMPLANT – Battery With CI equipment, there is more than one battery to check: Battery compartment Body worn CI Ear level CIMicrolink CI S Return

COCHLEAR IMPLANT – FM Receiver If the CI has a listening port, check the receiver functioning by listening to it. If there is not a port, test the receiver using another device (CI or HA). The order in which the CI and FM are turned on is important: 1. Turn off the CI and FM; 2. Plug in the FM; 3. Turn on the CI; 4. Turn on the FM. Return
