13 Consolidation for Better Results
Agency Applications – Business Intelligence Common Portal Interface Secure Managed Workflow Processes with Real-time Business Visibility Oracle delivers the software infrastructure to support an adaptable Information-age business. Oracle’s applications are evolving into an open business process platform. This platform’s model-based framework allows instant processing and analysis of monitored events to track trends, exceptions and other system information related to defined performance targets. But Oracle goes beyond simply delivering timely information and insight – Oracle software can make proactive recommendations and provide the components and tools to implement them. Oracle software also bridges the gap between technology and people, so that decision makers can quickly align all available resources to respond to business opportunities, adjust to changes in the business climate, and otherwise improve the company’s capabilities in the competitive marketplace. Oracle’s applications are closely linked to the Service Oriented Architecture of the underlying Fusion Middleware software. The Service Oriented Architecture provides the process flexibility and adaptability to quickly address changes in the business. And, of course, this is all built on a grid infrastructure. Most businesses have not yet asked deep questions about their business, they still view computers as bean-counting machines. But when that changes, once you have the power of a supercomputer available on demand, you can ask questions such as: Are there patterns in my customers' relationship to me of which I'm unaware? Are there pricing patterns of which I'm unaware? Any Information - All of the Time

This creates a continuous loop of process improvement. Information Processes
