6 UNCLASSIFIED UNCLASSIFIED Courage 7 on Operation Al Farouk Operation Al Farouk: 2012 Fighting Season Taliban Campaign Plan Priorities Focus attacks on ANSF to delegitimize them to the population in providing security. Conduct Assassinations of GIROA officials to weaken Governance development. Focus efforts/attacks on ISAF forces to interdict/disrupt security and development. Increase Green on Green, Green on Blue attacks as part of an overall IO campaign through co-option, infiltration, impersonation and personal/ grievance techniques. Bait ISAF Forces into committing civilian casualties through attacks in built- up areas. (Not official, personal assessment)
