Deceiving our own selves James 1:22 But be ye doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. Matthew 23:25-28 Titus 1:16 [The defiled] profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient and unto every good work reprobate.

HOT instead of lukewarm Romans 12:1-2 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

HOT instead of lukewarm Works: important or not? Matthew 5:16 Let you light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Romans 2:10 But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: 2 Corinthians 9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

HOT instead of lukewarm Works: important or not? Ephesians 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Colossians 1:10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; 2 Thessalonians 2:17 Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.

HOT instead of lukewarm Works: important or not? 1 Timothy 2:10 But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works. 1 Timothy 6:18 That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate: 2 Timothy 2:21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.

HOT instead of lukewarm Works: important or not? 2 Timothy 3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. Titus 2:7 In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, and sincerity, Titus 2:14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

Titus 3:1 Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work, Titus 3:8 This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men. Titus 3:24 And let ours also learn to maintain good works for necessary uses, that they be not unfruitful.

HOT instead of lukewarm Works: important or not? Hebrews 10:24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Hebrews 13:21 Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

HOT instead of lukewarm Works: important or not? James 3:13 Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? Let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom. 1 Peter 2:12 Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.
