Problem Solving Approaches People have strengths in the way they approach the world Concept is based on behaviour easy to tell what you and others are like opposite strengths in others can compliment your strengths

Thinking ← → Risking think with their head "look before you leap" "let's think about it" thoughtful, reflective, reserved, introverted plan to avoid mistakes and failure "quiet": low range of emotional expression generally thoughtful feel in their heart "he who hesitates is lost", "let's try it" spontaneous, engaging, expressive, extroverted builds on mistakes and failure "effusive": high range of emotional expression generally engaging

Thinking ← → Risking thought reason perception, deduction cognitive structure planning conceptual learning sees the risk, works to be right action emotion intuition, inductive affective dynamic doing experiential learning takes the risk, willing to be wrong "Risking" does not mean risky or carelessly taking chances
