4 The staff working for the hospitals or other healthcare centres in the Regional Health Adminstration of Castilla y León is obligued to work non-ordinary hours in agreement with the needs of the corresponding hospital or healthcare centre. Non-ordinary working hours

6 The maximum number of hours due to be worked in a week considering both the ordinary working hours and the non-ordinary working hours is 48 hours. Consequently the maximum number of working hours worked by any physician (considering duties or on call). It must be taken into account however that the number of non-ordinary working hours (duties or on call) can be increased with up to 150 extra hours which can be worked voluntarily. 7 During sick or maternity leave periods working hours will be worked out by substracting from the ordinary annual working hours those corresponding to the hours which should have been worked during that temporary situation of sick or maternity leave; these hours will be regarded as actually worked. All types of holidays (except free days for personal reasons) which should have been enjoyed by the physician during the leave period will be not be enjoyed after this period is over.
