7 Each Patrol will have: 1 x Duty Day 2 x Offsite full day activities 2 x Offsite half day activities 5 x Onsite activities 1 x Free Choice Activity 1 x Y 10 Expedition 1 x Morning – Market Day

9  6 Leaders with troop ◦Other Leaders on staff to help with running event  Future Scout Day for Keas & Cubs to Visit – Thursday 2 nd January  Market day for local community and families to Visit – Friday 3 rd January  Arrive Home January 6/7 or add details of extra days for local tour if you are adding this

11 Give a Scout great activities and they will have a great time …. and expect you to provide more great activities.

15  Cubs should start scouts no later than beginning of Term 3 – 2013 ◦Otherwise insufficient time to get Bronze Scout Award  1 or 2 Pre Jamboree Camps  Younger Scouts could wait till the next Jamboree or do 2 ◦Different experience when older

16  Estimated at $1200 plus spending  Allow $200 spending  The $1200 will be made up of: ◦Jamboree fee $720 ◦Contingent fees approx. $480  The Jamboree fee covers: ◦Programme & activities ◦Infrastructure ◦Food ◦Management and Health & Safety

17  The Contingent fee covers: ◦Transport of people and equipment ◦Activity T-shirts & hat ◦Scarfs ◦Badges ◦Gas for cooking ◦1 or 2 Pre-Jamboree Camps ◦Contribution to leaders costs ◦Sundry troop costs & contingencies ◦???????????????????????
