3 Small pox is a disease that starts with fever-like symptoms. Then you break out in a rash. The bubbles swell and eventually split open and dry up and leave deep pitted scars. Small Pox has been eradicated from the United States, But is still present in other countries, So no need to worry.

4 Pick your next disease. Small pox killed 90% of the Native Americans in the Massachusetts Bay area. And in Connecticut it killed 95% of the Native Americans Native Americans where more susceptible to the Small Pox epidemic because they had never experienced anything like this and their bodies had no natural immunities to it. 5 Scurvy is caused by a deficiency of vitamin C. Scurvy leads to the formation of spots on the skin, spongy gums, and bleeding from the mucous membranes. Scurvy is still present in the United States so you keep your vitamin C up.

6 Pick your next disease. Severe phases of the disorder can result in death. The disease can be treated with large doses of Vitamin C. Vitamin C is widespread in plant tissues, with particularly high concentrations occurring in citrus fruits (oranges, lemons, limes, grapefruits); tomatoes, potatoes, cabbages, and green peppers are also good sources of this vitamin. 7 Diphtheria is a serious bacterial infection, usually affecting the mucous membranes of your nose and throat. Diphtheria typically causes a sore throat, fever, swollen glands and weakness. Diphtheria is still present today.

8 A second type of diphtheria can affect the skin, causing the typical pain, redness and swelling associated with other bacterial skin infections. Ulcers covered by a gray membrane also may develop in coetaneous diphtheria. Although it's more common in tropical climates, coetaneous diphtheria also occurs in the United States, particularly among people with poor hygiene who live in crowded conditions. 9 Measles is an infectious disease caused by a virus. It spreads easily from person to person. The main symptom of measles is an itchy skin rash. The rash often starts on the head and moves down the body. Measles is still around today but can be prevented by a vaccine.

10 Sometimes measles can lead to serious problems. There is no treatment for measles, but the measles-mumps-rubella (MMR) vaccine can prevent it. The End Pick New Disease
