8 Vocabulary Words Non-renewable resource – an energy resource that takes millions of years to form from the remains of plants and animals such as coal, oil, and natural gas Renewable resource – an energy resource that is replaceable by natural means such as trees or wind Inexhaustible resource – an energy resource immediately replace and will not run out Biomass – biological material such as plants material or animal waste converted to a useable energy source, a renewable resource
