12
1:20 Then Job arose, tore his robe, and shaved his head; and he fell to the ground and worshiped. 21 And he said: Job Loses His Property and Children

Satan Goes To God Again 2 :3 Then the L ORD said to Satan, “Have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil? 15
Satan Goes To God Again 2:4 So Satan answered the L ORD and said, “Skin for skin! Yes, all that a man has he will give for his life. 5 But stretch out Your hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will surely curse You to Your face!” 6 And the L ORD said to Satan, “Behold, he is in your hand, but spare his life.”

Job Answers and God Speaks Again! 42:1 Then Job answered the L ORD and said: 2 “I know that You can do everything, And that no purpose of Yours can be withheld from You. 3 You asked, ‘Who is this who hides counsel without knowledge?’ Therefore I have uttered what I did not understand, Things too wonderful for me, which I did not know.
22
Therefore I have uttered what I did not understand, Things too wonderful for me, which I did not know. 4 Listen, please, and let me speak; You said, ‘I will question you, and you shall answer Me.’ 5 “I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear, But now my eye sees You. 6 Therefore I abhor myself, And repent in dust and ashes.” Job Answers and God Speaks Again!

Reasons For Suffering Suffering Makes Us Like Christ 1 Peter 4:12-13 Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you; 13 but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy.
26
To Become An Example To Others 1 Thessalonians 1:6-7 6 And you became followers of us and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Spirit, 7 so that you became examples to all in Macedonia and Achaia who believe. Reasons For Suffering
27
To Prepare Us For The Kingdom 2 Timothy 2:12 If we endure, We shall also reign with Him. If we deny Him, He also will deny us. Reasons For Suffering
28
Humble Yourselves Before God Humility Cures Worldliness James 4:7-10 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double- minded. 9 Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. 10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.
29
Do Not Judge Your Brother James 4:11-12 Do not speak evil of one another, brethren. He who speaks evil of a brother and judges his brother, speaks evil of the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge. 12 There is one Lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. Who are you to judge another?
30
Bear One Another’s Burdens Galatians 6:2 2 Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
