17 Northeast Missouri Mission The Northeast Missouri Medical Reserve Corps is a volunteer group that can supplement existing community emergency medical resources, as well as contribute to meeting the public health needs of the community.

18 Demographics Serves 11 counties in the Area B region of Northeast Missouri Combined population: 103,828* Combined land area: 5,925 square miles Average population per square mile: 17.2 *Based on 2000 and 2003 census data from the U.S. Census Bureau

19 Unit Demographics 86 Members Although based in a medical school, only 20 physicians are members 1/3 membership EMTs/Paramedics from three counties Goals: 100 members by September, 2005 –150 members by September, 2006
