1. Messengers of Love Program Update for period between Dec.2009 - Dec.2010 “We can do no great things, only small things with great love.” - Mother Teresa of Calculta

2.  We added 2 more orphanages Ngo Quyen&Thien Than orphanages to our Christmas and Tet gifts giving programs, totalling 3200 kids  We added a total of 80 children to list of sponsor a child to school, totalling 225 kids – 20 from My Tho, 20 Da Lat, 5 Saigon, 30 Dong Nai, 5 from Hue.  We added 1 more orphanage to our long term sponsorship program, totalling 3: co nhi Ho Nai, Nam Hung, Huong La  We added 1 new program – help burned victims VN – Lead by Dr. Anh Hoang – Provide help to families and victims.

3.  We added 2 children, Gia Han, 1 year old & Bao Yen, 2 years old to help with heart surgery.  We built 5 houses for the poor & lepers – 3 in Hue, 2 in Kontum.  We provided funding to build one clean water system for a village of 200 families.  Our US representative traveled to Vietnam this summer to visit and give scholarship and tuitions to poor students in My Tho, Da Lat, Hue, Dong NaiVN.  We cooperated with Haiti Mission Medical group in providing health supplements and school supplies to poor patients & students.

4.  We secured 5 scholarship at $5000 each at Nam My private school for 5 orphans. Thanks to Ms. Kim Yen, Dr. Hien Tran.  We added 3 new chapters – Austin & Virginia, Connecticut – Dr. Hoang Anh, David Tran, Linhda Le, Ms. Huyen Vu, Ms HauInwalku.  We have 2 new board of directors members – Dr./Captain Gillis and Dr/Professor Hien Tran.  We have 1 new VN rep, Fr. Sang Nguyen, My Tho.

49.  We currently have 120 poor students, some are orphaned, in Quang Nam province who is awaiting our financial aid, but we had not been able to help them. With your support, we plan to add them to the list of poor students that receive financial aids from MoL next year.
