1 Byte- represents one unit of data. How much information a computers memory can store is measured in bytes. 1 key press = 1 Byte memory.

2 The Byte is also used to show how much information can be stored on a storage device. Floppy Disk = 1.4 Megabytes (Equals about 4,600 single spaced, type written pages) CD Rom = 700 Megabytes Flash Drive = 2000 Megabytes or 2 Gigabytes Hard Drive 1TB Gigabytes = 1,000 000,000,000 Bytes
