4. A three-step procedure is involved with the CST Assessment Assignment (Pre-Test and Post-Test). Not all screens will be displayed & some responses depend on which system you are using. STEP #1: Do Assessment Assignment Click on Step #1: 1. Complete the Assessment Assignment it contains. 2. If you wish, you may click the link for a "Printer-Friendly Version" that is available and print it. STEP #2: Prepare Your System Click on Step #2: 1. You are asked what you want to do -- click on SAVE. 2. It does not matter where you save it -- take the default and click on [SAVE]. 3. A "Download Complete" window pops up -- click on [OPEN] or [RUN]. 4. A Security Warning may pop-up -- if it does, click on [RUN]. 5. A "Welcome" to a Wizard pops-up -- leave the default settings as is and click [NEXT] until you get to the end -- then click on [FINISH]. 6. NOTE: If you receive an error #1931, disregard it by clicking on [OK]. 7. An "Installation Complete" window pops up -- click on [CLOSE]. STEP #3: Access and Complete a Survey and Have Your Assignment Assessed Click on Step #3: 1. A File Download window or Security Warning window may pop-up -- if it does, click on [OPEN] or [RUN]. 2. Another Security Warning may pop-up -- if it does, click on [RUN]. 3. A survey form is displayed -- key in the biographical (anonymous) information. 4. Click [SUBMIT SURVEY AND CHECK FILES] -- the submit process captures the data from the form and also looks for various files and folders on the C-Drive to provide a series of T/F indicating whether the student was successful or not on various steps in the assignment. 5. NOTE: Submit only after completing the Assessment Assignment. If you reach this point and have not done the assignment, you may click a [CLOSE] or [CANCEL] button. 6.You should then get a pop-up window that says, "Thank You!" -- click on [OK].
