2. Clear Pattern is Seen in Scripture Grace: (Titus 2:11-12) 11 For the grace of God that brings salvation hath appeared to all men, 12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world Faith: (Heb 11:1, 6) 1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen... 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Obedience: (Jas 2:22) You see how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?

3. God's M.O. Under the Patriarchal Age To Noah: (Heb 11:7) By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. To Abraham: (Heb 11:17-19) 17 By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son, 18 Of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called: 19 Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure.

4. God's M.O. Under the Mosaic Age To Israel Conquering Jericho: (Heb 11:30) By faith the walls of Jericho fell down, after they were compassed about seven days. To the Gentiles – Example of Naaman: Naaman was a leper (2 Kgs 5:1) Grace is given (v 10) Faith is achieved … finally! (v 11-13) Obedience brought blessings (v 14)

5. God's M.O. Under the Gospel Age To Us: What's our problem? (Rom 3:23) All have sinned, and come short of the glory of God (Rom 6:23) For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Grace given through the Good News of Christ (Rom 1:16-17) 16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

6. God's M.O. Under the Gospel Age To Us: Faith in this Good News will give you eternal life: (Jn 3:16) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Faith motivates Obedience to this Good News (Rom 6:17-18) 17 But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. 18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.
