2. Who Am I? I was born in Brookline, Mass achusetts. I graduated from Harvard. My Inaugural Address offered the memorable injunction: "Ask not what your country can do for you- -ask what you can do for your country." I was the first Irish Roman Catholic to become President of the United States. By doing so, I opened up the “door” to other Irish Roman Catholics to hold positions of power in the United States government. In 1961, I was the youngest man to become President of the United States. I encouraged the advancement of the United States space program.
