Can lose connection with people’s actual everyday needs. Can be hard to spot the Christians at work in this.

Local people set the agenda, identify own resources and needs. Local people take control of the process Good for long term change Power is handed over.

You can lose the overt Christian influence. You may have to deal with some people in your church or project who may be uncomfortable with these aspects.
