2.  Principal Performance and Development Review has been signed off. This has been 8 months of working with DECS executive. The process fit the National Standard and has a clear emphasis on Principal development.  Supporting professional learning and sharing the knowledge. Leadership Bootcamp, Developing Feedback Culture, Professional conversation dinners and networking have delivering timely and pertinent professional development for our members and their teams.  Extra week leave – Don’t forget to take it and enjoy the rest.  Representing the profession in a number of key working parties, reference groups and peak bodies including School Reviews, PALLIC and Extreme Behaviours.  Principal Mentoring. There will be an expanded program in 2013.  Keeping the focus on School Leader well being  Proactive engagement at National levels. Especially getting on with Gonski. Thanks to Michele, and Sabina. 3.  An exciting PL calendar for Principals and Leadership teams:  Arts Across the Curriculum with Robyn Ewing, President of ALEA (February 20)  Group Wizardry with Michael Grinder (April 3)  Rock and Water for Women (March)  Mental Health First Aid  Bill Rodger (March)  A focus on wellbeing, Chapters and supporting Assistant Principals  The long-awaited Gonski review implementation  11th World Convention of the International Confederation of Principals, Cairns July 2013 is just around the corner, and plans are already in full swing for next year!
