2 Aboriginal Employee Consultations Working Together in Partnership Towards Inclusion The Commissioner held face-to-face consultations with all Aboriginal employees across the country. 3 Employment Equity and Diversity Committee What is EEDC? The EEDC is composed of dedicated staff, volunteers and champions who work towards advancing employment equity and diversity (EED) at CSC. EEDC’s Vision: The EEDC will be recognized as the focal point for employment equity and diversity at CSC. We will be seen as leaders and catalysts for change that are innovative, responsive and inclusive. We will build on existing successes, resources and tools, and be results and action-oriented.

5 Visual Components of the Corporate Identity Aboriginal Role Model Initiative The first edition of the Aboriginal Role Model Initiative was launched in 2011 to celebrate and showcase Aboriginal employees working in the Correctional Service Canada, from coast to coast. The Aboriginal Role Model Initiative demonstrates the organization’s continuous effort to create a fully- inclusive organization that recognizes and values the importance of adopting culturally relevant approaches to help achieve full inclusion.
