2. Project Overview Description –Upgrade current Unclaimed Property UPMS system to UPS2000 (latest version) Justification –Current UPMS system (1998) uses FoxPro application which is no longer supported by the department –New application to be web-based in a SQL Server environment

4. Accomplishments Completed under budget o$210k actual ($250k budgeted) Moved into production in October 2009 Improved security features and new functionality available in new system

5. DoIT System Impact Used an existing production SQL Server box; consistent with efforts to consolidate production servers. Housed at DoIT Data Center. Network impact is negligible since only about 15 users.

6. Conclusion The UPS2000 upgrade will improve TRD processing of unclaimed property. Contains enhanced security, data integrity and audit trail capabilities, and improved user interface. New version has additional functionality for inventory handling and stock handling processes.
