1. Look over the lab and assign jobs a. Reader/writer b. Discussion leader/manager c. Mass person d. Getter/clean up person 2. At the bottom of your data sheet write a proper hypothesis. If we use ? Grams of sugar with 1-2 grams Kool-Aid and 200mL of water, then….because… 4. The lab manager will also assign any other needed jobs during the investigation.

2. Lab write up
In your notebook write a conclusion to the lab: include the hypothesis and whether it was proven or disproven.
Why was it important to mass the sugar and kool-aid for each trial in the experiment?
Figure out approximately how much sugar would be in your mixture if it was mixed according to the package instructions (1 Cup of sugar= approx. 210 grams)
If you make Kool-Aid in the future will you decrease the amount of sugar?
Connection to the world-Sugar amounts in products used in other countries (less sugar in cola in Europe).
