Usually, the first part of a paper to be read will be the title. Be sure to make it catchy!

4. Here are some hints for developing a catchy title:
Consider the main subject of the paper. In this case, it is the influences from friends.
What are some main words associated with this essay?
Influences + Friends + Character, right?

5. Synonyms… Let’s brainstorm a few synonyms for these words: Influences:
Friends:
Character (feel free to give character traits):

6. Examples: Influences = force, pressure Friend = peer, pal, buddy
Character = actions, various character traits (integrity, compassion, trustworthiness, etc.)
Can any of the synonyms be used in a title?

Possible Titles:

If a quote has been used in the introduction paragraph, it is possible to use a key word from the quote as part of a title.
Example: “Those who stand for nothing fall for anything.” ~Alexander Hamilton

It is possible to use part of a sentence that you have written in your paper.
Regardless of where they live, what affects everyone at one point or another? It is peer pressure. That very powerful force often impacts many of our daily decisions. While some succumb to the negative aspects of this powerful force, others benefit from the positive attributes it can add to our lives. In fact, by encouraging us to engage in new experiences and create good habits, positive influences from friends strengthen our character.
These words jump out at me, so I could use them in a title.
