Professional Attributes
Knowledge Professional Attributes Values Decisions Actions Outcomes What? How? When Standards are written they are underpinned by a framework to make sure they are valuable to teachers and learners. So usually there is an element of knowledge, your curriculum knowledge -Te Whariki, pedagogical knowledge, knowledge about learning and children and then you also have your knowledge of the children you teach and their parents and whānau. You also have your beliefs and values and theses things are together what you base your desicions on. In each standard you can see some knowledge Then they contain a word or two that makes the actions that you take obvious. Then they often have outcomes. Go to the slides to see those –can you see it in the next three standards? Then go back to this slide and see if you can see these pieces in each standard –they are not obvious in all but does it help you to understand them more? Priorities for Professional Learning
