UNC Project Nexus Planning Assumptions Feedback & Responses
5 Responses Received Concern raised re length of time for Legal Drafting Task prior to any Topic/workstream conclusion (66 days) Assumption that Workstream’s task not complete until all Legal Drafting finished. Some workgroups will finish early and therefore legal drafting can commence early. (May want to wait until all workgroups concluded). Supportive of approach although challenging. Additional checkpoints to ensure workgroups will deliver the requirements necessary to continue to the next stage of project development This activity should be carried out within the Workstream and the ToR showing the interaction between the Workstream & Workgroups should reflect this Plan not readable when presented in PowerPoint. Can the project file be issued? Plan in PowerPoint shows context of the high-level plan. First timetable showing dates of individual workshops has been issued. ‘Monitoring’ of progress within Workstream yet to be discussed and finalised, but will probably be via ‘Key Milestone Report’ – RAG.

Less time should be allocated to discussing current process. Keep the review of the current processes to a minimum and amend the workgroup timetable if this review period requires less time. Consider having an independent Design Authority Need to discuss with the industry on what is required and how this will operate All workgroups should be lead by xoserve Each workgroup will need to decide who should take the lead Plan doesn’t seem to recognise any dependencies between Topic workgroups Plan does cater for dependencies, however, it is not possible to run the workshops serially. Topic workgroups overlap. There are several workgroups at the end of November. Resources and cross-over issues difficult to manage Cut-over issues should be managed by Workstream. Detailed workshop timetable indicates that there is only one workshop each day.
