UK Link Programme Dashboard Report Change Overview Board – 3rd November 2014
Executive summary
RAG status for the Programme remains at ‘amber’.
File formats issued to plan, with reps closed for phase 1 and 2 file formats. Walkthrough day planned for 28th October and extraordinary UK Link Committee planned for 30th October
Functional fit currently remains positive at approximately c.80%.
*Detailed design activities completed with the exception of non core SAP (ie customisation items) which will complete in November
Walkthroughs of “to be” business processes continues to agreed plan
Shipper File format reviews continue to plan with all format changes being published and reps closing for phases 1 & 2.
Industry walkthroughs of “to be” business processes continues to plan and on schedule to complete in December
The release plan for non-shipper file formats has been developed; industry engagement approaches are being agreed.
Two Transition mods (mod 514 and 515) have been raised and are being progressed through their respective working groups. Two further mods are being progressed through the required governance in order to raise to the Industry.

Build phase and upgrade of test environments is progressing to plan.
Detailed test planning is continuing.
Greater understanding is developing of the dependencies between UKLP and EU Reform and development of options to mitigate the delivery risks.

Risks:
A solution is required to enable data exchange between Adjacent Transmission System Operators and Gemini, given that TSOs are not using the assumed mechanism. A B2B solution is under selection following analysis of options.
